In a big white hospital
in a crowded room
There was a little lady
But no flowers or balloons
Goodbye room
Goodbye hat
Goodbye pregunta poster over fake thermostat
Goodbye elevator
And broken blinds
Goodbye sign
And shaving time
Goodbye mittens
And goodbye food
Goodbye visits to the 358 room
Goodbye Shauna
And Goobye Matt
And goodbye Dorothy emptying "The Hat"

Awesome! That was a great read! I kept searching diligently for the little mouse or is that a different story? It's been so long......Lou Ann, we need to break the tie and have another!!!
Shalaine! Loved it!!!! One of the books I oh so love from raising children. Thank goodness we DIDN'T find the little mouse anywhere.....maybe we could photoshop some pictures of Napoleon into them instead. :-)
Loubige, what do you mean? The little mouse I was referring to was in "Goodnight Gorilla."
Now that book is a classic? Can't remember the author though? Shalaine, can you help me out?
Another classic post. Love it! I will have to print it out so Max can read it along with the Goodnight Moon book he got for Christmas from Cozi.
your mom
There is ALSO a mouse in every picture of the rooms in Goodnight Moon and he is always somewhere else in the room....the kids and I would look for him, so I THINK I would know!!! But yes, there is a mouse in Goodnight Gorilla as well. And it sounded like you didn't know what book you were referring to when talking about the mouse anyway????
Now I don't want to break the tie and have another. My feelings are hurt. You'll never see the little mouse again. Take that!
Oh, I am sure that will all change come January 1, 2009 when its time for the swimmers to swim.
Is there a way to stop comments on this post? It's all starting to turn a little New Years Eve 2007 for me.
